How do I book an appointment?
Booking with The Black Swan Tattoo Studio is simple. Start by submitting a booking enquiry through our website or by sending us a message on Instagram. Tell us about your tattoo idea, preferred placement, approximate size, and include any reference images you have. We'll review your enquiry, match you with the most suitable artist, discuss your design, provide a quote, and arrange a consultation or appointment. A $200 deposit (non-refundable) is required to secure all bookings.
What safety measures do you follow?
Your safety is our highest priority. We operate in accordance with Western Australia's Skin Penetration Code of Practice and maintain strict hygiene standards throughout the studio. All needles and other single-use items are disposed of after every client, workstations are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between appointments using hospital-grade disinfectants, and our artists follow rigorous infection control procedures, including the use of disposable barriers and fresh PPE where required. We believe exceptional tattooing begins with a clean, safe, and professional environment.
Can I see a design before committing?
Yes. We create all custom tattoo designs 1–2 days before your appointment to ensure every design receives our full attention and isn't rushed weeks or months in advance. Your completed design will be ready on the day of your appointment, where you'll have plenty of time to review it with your artist. If you'd like any minor adjustments, sizing changes, or small tweaks, we'll make those before we begin tattooing. We won't start until you're completely happy with the final design.
